Description

Central PA firm seeks a WordPress-centric freelance web developer to dive into our team-based creative environment and take on new development projects on an as-needed basis. You’ll work within a close-knit team setting with our project manager and other members of the development and creative team to see a project from conception through completion.

Skills required:
  • WordPress development experience
  • Ability to design and develop themes and plug-ins
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite / Creative Cloud software
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop with respect to web design
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML / HTML5, CSS / CSS3, and PHP
  • Experience working with MySQL databases
  • Working knowledge of Javascript and JQuery
  • Extremely well-organized and able to prioritize
  • Responsiveness to questions and communications with project team


    • Skills preferred:
  • Understanding of SEO best practice as it applies to current web standards
  • Familiarity with other CMS tools
  • Basic understanding of other programming languages
