Description
A global Engineering/Manufacturing company based in Gloucestershire is looking to hire a Cognos BI Analyst to work on a 6 month temporary contract.
Main Purpose
To improve key decision making and streamline processes through the provision of information and Business Intelligence solutions.
This role also requires the candidate to engage with key contacts in the company from team members to Supply Directors
Essential:
- Understanding technical information and communicating in a non technical manner.
- Application of advanced Microsoft office skills
- has worked with large data
- Understanding of basic data extraction and presentation methods.
- Ability to manage small projects
Must have:
- knowledge of Cognos 10 and ERP systems
- Experience working in BI analyst role OR IT degree
- Confident user of database tables, queries and stored procedures preferably SQL.
Rate: £300 - £400 per day
