Enterprise Architect - Mobile
My client are a leading financial services organisation who require an interim Enterprise Architect to drive mobility architecture development within the business.
Role
- Form a strong delivery partnership with the Business Solutions, Integration and other IT teams to ensure the successful delivery of the IT Transformation plan
- Gain organisational commitment for strategic decisions based on enterprise level application principles and roadmaps
- Direct the architecture for mobile device management (Mobile Iron) and enterprise mobility framework (Kony) Maintain a clear understanding of how offline data usage on a mobile device impacts integration and host systems
- Scope includes Vendors, Software, Versions, OS/Infrastructure and interoperability, Business owners
- Work with the Data Architect to ensure that specific mobile application data models align to the overall Enterprise Data model

- Strong internal stakeholder and external supplier management expertise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong at process management and programme governance
- Architecture mapping and modelling from a number of viewpoints using the Sparx EA tool
- Functional and High level design
- Setting Technical Standards and policy in relation to mobile application development and procurement
- Ability to drive the appropriate Application designs across the enterprise supporting enterprise
Experience
- Experience of architecting an enterprise mobility platform that manages offline usage of data in a mobile app
- Enterprise Architect (or similar) role in a mid - large organisation
- Delivery of enterprise architecture design and Governance as part of an Architecture function
- Proven experience of working as part of large teams in a wide variety of technologies
- Proven experience of delivering significant technology initiatives
- 3rd Party technology vendor assessments and reviews
- System/Software development cycles and approaches
Knowledge
- TOGAF and associated frameworks
- Enterprise modelling tools and techniques
- Setting and implementing Application Strategy and roadmaps, including functional and integration blueprints
- Microsoft technologies and SQL
- Kony enterprise mobility framework
- Mobile Iron (Mobile Device Management)
- Technically aware - Exposure to a variety of COTS technologies and vendors across a variety of domains
- Bespoke application development management
