Role: Senior Java DeveloperContract Length: 6 months with the potential of numerous extensions
Daily Rate: DOE
My client is a European leader in technology and security. They have developed and created globally recognized security protocols and software. Their technologies and products are used by millions of people around the world.
They are a leader in their field and allow business and service providers to transform their operations and deliver information technology as a service.
They are passionate about security and leading technology trends
They have an upcoming contract in Dublin South with an opportunity to work on a Greenfield project for a major client.
The project has come about due to exceptionally high demand of this company's product.
This project is brand new, it is the opportunity to work on a new project from scratch and work with the whole software development life cycle, everything will be developed from scratch from the back-end to the front-end.
There are not many open Greenfield projects like this in Dublin
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
On a day to day basis you will be developing the project from scratch from the back-end to the front-end and everything in between.
You will be working with the latest technologies in the market
You will be responsible for developing a standard of high quality java code in a really organic environment.
The project is brand new so you will have the opportunity to bring your own experience and ideas to the development
You will be responsible for development of Java Components for Management of Security applications and Biometrics data
You will also contribute to Technical Specification, perform Coding and Testing, Integration
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE
1. A B Sc. or M Sc degree in IT
2. Very strong knowledge of Java at least 5 years professional experience
3. Object oriented analysis, design experience
4. Excellent English
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to work on own initiative
your skillet:
5+ years experience with Java/J2EE Development
Experience working with JSP/ Webservices
Good experience working with Spring or Spring MVC
Experience working with SoapUI, JUnit and JMeter
