Description

For my client based in the Eindhoven area I'm looking for an integration specialist.

You have at least five years of experience as an Integration specialist in a complex infrastructure. You're able to communicate on all levels, you're able to work independent, you are pro-active and eager to learn. You have an affection for Business Process Optimization and are aware of integration software opportunities and limitations to best support the Business.

You feel comfortable with a Windows Server & network environment and are familiar with:

  • PRINCE II methodology
  • Oracle data Integrator 11g (ETL)
  • Oracle SOA suite 10g (BPEL/OWSM)
  • Oracle Database (SQL,PL/SQL)
  • Oracle Application Server (WLS/10g)
    • MS SQL server 2008 (MSSQL)
    • XML/XSD, XSLT, Xquery/Xpath
    • Linux
    • Webservices
    • Edifact (pre)
    • Business Inteligence (pre)
    • Gridcontrol (pre)

You have no trouble expressing yourself in Dutch and English

the Integration specialist executes the role of Technical application manager of the Oracle middleware stack and is also responsible for its maintenance. This means recognizing, analyzing, prioritizing and solving issues related to the applications under his supervision. Fulfilling service requests, implementing changes and advising application owners/managers are part of the job as well. More specific the tasks related to the job are:

  • Monitor application performance and make the translation to Application Server parameter settings
  • Monitor and control application interfaces/integrations
  • Keep track on application developments, advise on alternative scenarios and priorities for upgrades and participate in change requests
  • Maintain and communicate a release calendar and install new software releases
  • Analyze and solve complex incidents
  • Define system requirements in order to guarantee application stability
  • Plan, coordinate and perform technical testing, keep track on acceptance and ensure a trouble-free transition to production
  • Participate as an expert in migration/upgrade programs
  • Maintain contact with suppliers, Functionality Managers, key-users and colleagues from Infra & Technical Services
  • Define and document Middleware structure and components
  • Advise on requested changes
  • Implement small changes
  • Willing to join stand-by shift (24/7 also weekends)
