The Role
* The role involves providing strong leadership and expert technical knowledge in the support of Oracle Retail Merchandizing software applications, ensuring that all the applications have the best level of support.
* Managing a team consisting of 5-10, applications support analysts and technical analysts across Onsite & Offshore
* Ability to direct & prioritize Service Requests across Offshore & Onsite teams and manage the work-load effectively
* Be the first point of contact/ownership in managing the Support of Oracle Retail Merchandizing systems.
Essential Experience
- 7 - 10+ years of software development and/or Support experience in managing high complexity applications
- Expertise in Oracle 10G/11G RDBMS.
- Exposure to Oracle Retail Merchandizing Systems (RMS, ReSA,RDW, ReIM).
- Expertise in working with views, triggers, Stored Procedures, Functions and Performance Tuning in PL/SQL using Oracle 10G Database.
- Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) preferable/options
- Expertise in Production Support Process.
- Experience in Designing and Development of Oracle Forms and Reports
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience working with major retail organizations preferable
- Experience in VB
- Experience in MS Access Database
- Exposure to Data Modeling tasks.
