The Role

* The role involves providing strong leadership and expert technical knowledge in the support of Oracle Retail Merchandizing software applications, ensuring that all the applications have the best level of support.

* Managing a team consisting of 5-10, applications support analysts and technical analysts across Onsite & Offshore

* Ability to direct & prioritize Service Requests across Offshore & Onsite teams and manage the work-load effectively

* Be the first point of contact/ownership in managing the Support of Oracle Retail Merchandizing systems.

Essential Experience

  • 7 - 10+ years of software development and/or Support experience in managing high complexity applications
  • Expertise in Oracle 10G/11G RDBMS.
  • Exposure to Oracle Retail Merchandizing Systems (RMS, ReSA,RDW, ReIM).
  • Expertise in working with views, triggers, Stored Procedures, Functions and Performance Tuning in PL/SQL using Oracle 10G Database.
  • Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) preferable/options
  • Expertise in Production Support Process.
  • Experience in Designing and Development of Oracle Forms and Reports

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience working with major retail organizations preferable
  • Experience in VB
  • Experience in MS Access Database
  • Exposure to Data Modeling tasks.
