Role: Embedded Software EngineerLocation: Reading
Rate: £35 - £42 (per hour)
Duration: 12 months
This position has been created by the head of engineering who has just won a 3 year project working on innovative products with strict deadlines.
The company is a global organisation that is well known in the US and also China however the engineering site is based in Reading.
The role will require that you to migrate the old software from an old board to a new board in particular Microprocessor Renesas H8 to RX220.
Key skills required are:
* Technical competency
* Embedded C
* Realtime experience
* Electronics aware - Schematics and data sheets experience
Required qualifications/experience
* Engineering degree in computer science or Software
* Experience with motor or heating controls
* Architecture design
