Description:- Special project to assist in developing the financial reports for QNXT transitions LOBs.
- Microsoft Access Database/Applications Developer will collaborate with other departments to convert Access DBs to SQL and Create Front End in .Net.
- Will be involved in all aspects or report, executive dashboard, and application screen development including design, database schema, business logic, and user interface which will have a significant and positive impact for the team.
- The MPSS business unit reconciles transactional activity across several data sources using MS Access/VBA consisting of 15+ interlinked databases. System is 10 years old, and has gone through number of modification during past several years.
- We need to have Access expert that will be able to debug extract business logic from VBA, macros, queries and interlined tables and data to build a new SQL Back End with .NET Front End.
- With the current system, the finance team has experienced negative results, and impacts due to Access Instability (database corruption, and application errors, size and speed limitations).
Skills:
- We are seeking a SQL/.net Developer with strong experience in MS Access.
- Requires a minimum of Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- Must have at least 7 years of experience as a .net/SQL developer
