Incredible positions based In Bratislava working for a Blue Chip Giant on a long term 12 months contract leading to 3 further years so 4 years work in total.
You are operating currently at 3rd line offering strong core windows server Windows support covering server build, configuration, administration and general up keep. You will have strong Windows Server 2003. You will be a senior infrastructure administrator
You will help to Build & Deployment of Virtual and Physical Servers, and troubleshooting of the related issues
Documentation of processes for the complete virtual server build flow, including updates, testing and Quality Assurance
Creation and maintenance of scripted processes for server builds and ad-hoc scripts for the support of the Virtual infrastructure (capacity reports, health status)
Collaboration with other teams to provide Windows Server 2012 and ESXi 5.5 to the Customer's estates Training of new build engineers
Responsible for providing third level production support for client/account escalations and/or system outages Requirements:
Demonstrates specialist understanding of both server hardware & server operating system deployment, configuration, testing & administration.
VMWARE vSphere - or nay virtualised environment skills is good
Demonstrates a specialist understanding of script debugging & automation principles with prior experience of working in PowerShell, VBScript and associated Scripting/mark-up languages (eg Batch files, HTML, and XML).
Experienced troubleshooting to a specialist level within Microsoft Windows Server Network Infrastructures including Resilient and High Availability service solutions.
Knowledge and understanding of: Microsoft Active Directory, Core Windows Network Services Advanced Windows Network Services, Network technologies
Has specialist experience in designing and engineering solutions in distributed server network infrastructure, platforms and related technologies (eg Servers, Blade Systems, Storage Area Networks, and Virtualization Technologies). ability to Design, install, configure, optimize, and document Windows Server 2003 to Windows
