My name is Andy Sandler and I'm the President and founder of Board Story, Inc.

Board Story, Inc. is a unique online portal designed for both professional and hobbyist poker players, who want an easy way to share interesting poker hands with poker enthusiasts from around the world. Call it Facebook for poker hands. As the tag line says, "You'll never believe this hand."

We've launched our version 1.0 software about a month ago and have successfully raised money to take us to version 2.0. My developer and I are building out all the new functionality - but we need someone to help us with user experience / user interface design. I consider UX/UI as the most important part of my business.

We need someone who:

is self-motivated, as we don't do hand holding

is communicative

has extensive experience with UX/UI, preferably dashboard-like apps (mobile and browser)

has experience with user testing

understands user journey and personas

Can solve problems

Good with Photoshop/Illustrator, etc.

We use Trello for project management and Slack for internal team communication. We live on these two applications.

No corporate bullsh*t. We're only three people. And we're super nice. : )

I'll judge your pizza by the taste, smell, and sight - not that you went to the the best Chef School in France. : )

I prefer someone that only does contract work. If you do work full time and want to take this project on, we'll have to discuss a schedule and ground rules.
