Systems Administrator - Linux / Java - London

Working for a successful risk based technology company in their Voice of the Customer solution team the Systems Administrator will be responsible for

*Provide support for the suite of JAVA applications

*Support the data center infrastructure including servers, storage and networking.

*Maintain and create virtual machines

*Configuration management automation using puppet/kickstart or similar tools

You must have the following to be considered:

*Advanced working knowledge of Linux, Virtualization Hypervisors

*Advanced scripting and automation - Perl/bash and python/kickstart/puppet

*Advancedweb application support:Apache, HTTP, SSL

*Working knowledge of Java to support applications and application servers - Tomcat & JBOSS

*Working knowledge of database administration - MySQL

*Working knowledge of storage, including SAN/ISCSI, RAID configurations

*Experience with hardware load balancers, layer 4/7 load balancing, Haproxy, tcpdump a Plus

*Good communication skills

*Ability to work autonomously

You will be prepared to

*Work after hours/on call

*Travel occasionally
