We are currently recruiting for a Configuration/Deployment Manager for our clients based in Brussels for a contract position -Job Description
In the context of the AFIS Framework and Portal applications that manage electronic documents and their secure exchange between competent authorities in the EU Institutions and EU Member States, International Organisations and other partners external to the EU: The consultant will perform, under the management of an OLAF official, the following tasks: . Software configuration management for AFIS . Establishment/maintenance of procedures related to deployment of AFIS' applications . Monitoring the AFIS applications development process . Release management and control for AFIS' applications . Version control and configuration management of AFIS applications . Consistency check of application versions deployed across environments . Preparation of test environments for FAT and SAT testing campaigns, test and coverage reports . Ensure the application of the change management process . Analysis of the performance of AFIS' applications
Job Requirements
Excellent knowledge of software deployment management . Good knowledge of software release management . Knowledge of agile software development methodologies (Scrum) . Excellent working knowledge of English (both spoken and written) and ease of communication is mandatory . Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE .
Minimum 8 years of relevant studies and experience after the secondary school . Minimum 4 years of IT professional experience . At least 1 year experience in deployment procedures . Experience in IT quality procedures
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
Practical experience as consultant involved in the development of a multinational IT system . Experienced in version control and deployment tools . Experienced in ITIL based application, configuration, change & release management; ITIL certification is mandatory . Experienced in the usage of ITIL based service management tools (BMC SDE) . Experienced in the administration of FAT and SAT test campaigns and test management tools (HP UFT, Rally) . Experienced in identity and access management and web application security
SPECIAL CONDITIONS .
The consultant will sign a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement after the signature of specific Contract and before the start of the tasks. . The consultant may be required occasionally to be available on-call or work outside normal working hours, on weekends or public holidays.
