Role: Embedded Software engineerLocation: Reading
Rate: £40 - £45
Duration: 6 months
I am seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with iOS & Android App development experience to work for a well known company.
Essential experience & skills:
* Experience in C based Embedded development to MISRA standards or equivalent
* Ability to identify issues, solve problems and integrate product features
* Team oriented, self-motivated with the ability to cope with change
* Minimum of two years' experience in developing high quality industrial Embedded software and iOS & Android Apps
Desirable skills:
* Developing medical software to IEC 62304
* Developing safety critical software to BS EN 61508
* Experience of electronics, microcontroller, ARM and device drivers
* Experience of working within a quality based system (ISO 9001:2000 and ISO13485)
* Experience of designing control systems
* Knowledge/Experience of GUI design
* Knowledge/Experience of medical products
* Knowledge of Assembler, C++, C# and Java
The ideal candidate will be capable of writing Apps and Embedded software and be able to provide good quality code.
