My client is one of the leading telecom providers in the world and they are now looking for a Cloud Service Consultant.

The Cloud Service Consultant will be the platform to manage hybrid cloud services and enable marketplace strategies for service provider clouds. As service providers expand from IaaS to PaaS/SaaS services the Cloud Service Consultant evolves to become the Cloud Store for the service provider. Changing the business model for service provider operation infrastructure to a cloud based deployment and delivery model. The Cloud Service Consultant will fit into existing operational environment providing a DIY capability for Internet network, IT operations and longer term for customers, 3rd parties in a true open digital system.

- Cloud Service Consultant based on Internet and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with the HQ to design, implement service provider operation addressing the business challenges and drivers faced by our customers and the changing market.
- Cloud Service Consultant business model analysis and designing. Perform business analysis of proposed designs/solutions
- Cloud Service Consultant Business Requirements - engage with key customers to understand their key business requirements and drivers and present them to relevant stakeholders in the context of strategic use cases.
- Cloud and Internet operation opportunities analysis - Identify the critical operation business trends for the cloud, Internet and marketplace by engagement with lead customers on their open cloud strategies
- Marketplace strategy planning. Analyse next generation operation, Big Data, PaaS, API Platforms (AEP) & Services trends, and guide the business planning to address the market dynamics and understand the context for the Cloud Service Consultant for this new Cloud and Internet Operation Team

Cloud and Internet operation consultant to both key customers and the our portfolio planning teams and visionary for marketplace strategies.

Experience required:

- Master or higher degree in computer science, software architectures and/or communications with business qualification or industry experience.
- At least 10 years industry experience in Cloud, Internet, Software vendors or service providers. With in-depth knowledge and experience of operations and business systems. Knowledge of the product and service and how Telco's can and will leverage revues from new technologies, such as Cloud and Big Data
- At least 3 years Cloud and Internet experience with exposure working within or with the main carriers. Have an in-depth understanding of Internet networking trends and challenges faced or experience with evolution to Internet technologies. Cloud/Virtualisation, and Data Centre orchestration
- Fundamental understanding of technical and business drivers for Telecom virtualisation and supporting business cases for delivery of Cloud offering sold as services (eg, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Expertise in Data Centres with transformation to Cloud experience such as: Software Defined Networks, Software Defined Data Centres, Network Function Virtualisation, Data Centre transformation, Data Centre security
- Exposure to Cloud and Internet operation in a digital enterprise or application company to support the new digital economy based on Real Time, On-demand, Always online, DIY and Social .
- Ideally, experience in Amazon Web Services, OpenStack, OpenFlow, Web Services, eCommerce/Payments, Digital Content, and Public/Private Cloud business models (Iass, Saas, PaaS) and Virtualisation Technologies.
