Description
This role is responsible for data integration focused around Business Intelligence-Data Warehousing platform. Working as part of a team, the Data Integration specialist will be responsible for liaising with other internal teams to understand their technology, data and system interfaces and then design and produce solutions, integrating with the Business Intelligence-Data Warehousing platform to provide data services, reporting and analysis. This is pre-dominantly a highly technical role requiring strong programming and data analysis capabilities.
- Demonstrable professional programming competency with SQL Server ideally gained in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment.
- In-depth strong knowledge of technical design and implementation in interfacing and integrating disparate system technologies, ideally experienced in using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools.
- Practical knowledge on data discovery, analysis and visualisation techniques using Relational DBMS and Business Intelligence tools.
- Experience with Kimble warehouse design
- Extensive experience with Netezza
