Description
Description:- Medgate is an occupational health software that will be used by corporate medical to track medical trends and manage compliance and regulatory requirements. This person is required to provide ongoing second-level support for Medgate.
- He/She will be required to work with the functional teams and liaison with the vendor to troubleshoot and support the system pre and post production.
- In this role the analyst will work closely with the designated power users within the business to help support the system.
- He/she will also work closely with the vendor to test during system upgrades and patching.
- Manage accounts and access for users along with the functional admins.
- Help super users debug security settings for Medgate end users
- Create new business rules and layouts as requirements change
- Write reports and assist super users in writing reports using Report Writer
- Help debug reports written by other users
- Resolve employee or organization interface grief reports between Medgate and PeopleSoft .
- Coordinate troubleshooting efforts with the vendor and other functional teams
- Test application prior to implementing patches from Medgate in production
- Coordinate PeopleSoft upgrade testing
- Evaluate new report requests and form change request documentation for custom reports.
- Support super users in importing values into lookup tables.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years prior experience with database/application support.
- Ability to support and troubleshoot SQL databases.
- Candidate must have proven abilities to learn quickly and troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to execute test cases, create bug reports and analyze test results.
- Candidate must have good communication skills and must be a team player who can work with multiple functional groups while troubleshooting issues.
- Understanding of EHS systems.
- Integration knowledge.
- PeopleSoft experience.
- Prior experience working with HR application support teams.
