Senior Cisco Engineer, Dublin, CCNP, 5 Yrs exp., Juniper, Checkpoint, MPLS, IPS, €good
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Cisco Engineer for initially 6 weeks with the potential for extension.
You will need to be qualified to CCNP and have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience of working on enterprise size networks and data centre operations. You will need to have good Cisco experience across the range including VLAN's and OCL's in IOS and Nexus O/S, plus Firewalls from Cisco Juniper and Checkpoint.
You should also have exposure to Load Balancers, and working in a datacentre environment following ITIL principles and an understanding of Project Management methods.
Protocols include MPLS. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF.
The role will be a mixture of support and development/implementation of client network services, so good technical skills and a positive attitude to client services will be essential.
