VENDOR ANALYST - CHESTER BASED - Contract role

Bank of America is currently seeking to recruit a Vendor Analyst to join their offices based in Chester.
The role will bring together IT Vendors and line of business stakeholders as well as internal and external support parties. This will also include the application onboarding into technology.

Responsibilities of a Vendor Analyst:

*Responsible for aspects of Application Management across the elements of the IT Vendor Applications portfolio assigned
*Responsible for the management of multiple technologies and applications that contribute to the operation of a given line of business function and provides technical guidance and input
*Stakeholder management to enable effective collaboration across internal, enterprise wide and external stakeholders
*Responsible for the Application strategy across the elements of the portfolio assigned in line with both Business and Technical strategy.

*Demonstrates good team working and collaboration skills
*Demonstrates self motivation, ownership and a can do attitude
*Demonstrates effective communication skills to a wide range of stakeholders, both formally and informally
*Demonstrates a good understanding of the relationship of own role with the organisation as a whole and fully understands impact when making proposals and/or carrying out work.
*Build Customer/Client Driven Environment - establishes good relationships with Business as primary Customer.
*Demonstrates good supplier management skills when engaging with Vendors
*Takes initiative to ensure technical knowledge is kept up to date and in line with industry developments.
