Role: Embedded Linux engineerLocation: Reading
Rate: £35 - £42 (per hour)
Duration: 12 months
This position has been created by the head of engineering manager who has an urgent requirement.
The company is a global organisation that is well known in the US and also China however the engineering site is based in Reading.
The role will require you to work on a board support package and therefore you will need experience on device drivers.
Your role will be to work on the user interface and also to modify these devices using embedded Linux and using QT on linux or windows.
Key skills required are:
Embedded linux experience 8+ years experience
Embedded real time control applications
Experience with board Bring up + linux drivers
QT and CVS experience would be desired
C++ experience
Desirable Skills:
* Desirable Engineering degree in computer science or Software
* Visual studio experience
* Graphical user interface design experience
