Description
WebSphere Commerce Technical Lead required for a role based in Milan, Italy. This role is working on an eCommerce project on an initial 2 month contract and would be the perfect role for a Technical Lead wanting to extend their experience in E-commerce and WebSphere Commerce.
The successful WebSphere Commerce Technical lead will be responsible for:
- You will be working with a key area of the project and will be looking to be an advisor.
- Report to project manager with areas that you believe need to be addressed.
- Participates in requirement gathering and design sessions and creates necessary requirement artifacts based on the guidelines
The successful WebSphere Commerce Technical Lead will need experience in:
- Strong hands-on experience withWebsphere Commerce Server (WCS 7.6 and above) & JavaJ2ee development
- Complete understanding of online E-commerce concepts (ie shop, browse, order, B2B/B2C etc.)
- Knowledge of all sub-system ofWCS
- Complete knowledge of one end to end integration with a 3rd party provider
- Indepth understanding of WCS programming model (ie BOD, command, store-jsp, view etc.)
- Knowledge of SOLR search engine
- Good understanding of various business Models ie B2B, B2C
- Should have good understanding of JSON/DOJO (Web 2.0 store front) implementation.
- Should be able to break down problem into logical chunks clearly (implementation level design) and have developed some of these
- Should independently code complex functionality ensuring completeness
- Should be able to come up with boundary conditions, validations and assumptions for the problem
- Should be able to explain his/her current project architecture and how everything fits together
- Should be able to plan and track for his/her own piece of work
- Should have a good understanding of Development Processes
- Desirable to have past experience in Retail space
