Description
The eLearning Developer will create interactive web based training courses, simulations and associated materials in support of blended learning solutions. Will have regular engagement with internal subject matter experts (SMEs), product managers, and training specialists to create effective and immersive learning activities for deployment on our learning management system.
Essential responsibilities include:

Developing new, interactive web based training courses, including those that are complex in material and design

Modifying existing instructional material into web based training courses

Translating needs analysis and functional specifications into an audience-appropriate, clear, and concise course design

Conducting Front End analysis to identify instructional goals; performance gaps, and needs assessment

Creating storyboards, prototypes, and complete web based training courses

Using E-learning authoring tools, such as Captivate and Flash, to create interactive web-based course products

Performing quality assurance checks on training courses to ensure high quality delivery

Ensures eLearning programs are developed using the appropriate levels of adult learning instructional techniques and evaluation tools

Effectively integrates eLearning programs into learning management system

Develop and manage SignUp4 Certification tracks and exams
Background & experience required/desired:
-
Experience in designing and developing performance-based training programs is a must.

Strong technical/software skills (Microsoft Suite, Dreamweaver, Captivate, Flash, Screencast, Adobe Photoshop, Audio and Graphic software).

Candidate must have a solid understanding of SCORM and how it applies to learning management systems.

Experience in web development, design and graphic design a plus.
Education and Certification Requirements:

Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science or Management Information Systems degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.
