Scope of the project:
The individual MUST be eligible for and interested in a possible full time position. There are multiple BSA projects that the individual will work, which require business requirements, design documents, policy and procedure documents, and training documents.
Daily responsibilities:
-Prepare, present, or collaborate on all required artifacts and deliverables to the Project Management team that is responsible for the development and implementation of the solution
-Consult with business partners (internal/external) to understand their strategic direction, priorities and needs and to define requirements,
-Collaborate with the different cross-functional team members to develop solution alternatives and provide estimates,
-Work closely with the Enterprise Architects to align designs that enable the achievement of strategic business outcomes,
-Provide consultation, advice, and insight to junior level BSAs on their projects (as requested by Supervisor or Manager)
Required skills
-5+ years of demonstrated excellence in analysis, documentation, presentation tools, requirement documentation tools, and workflows
-Experience with project management methodology
-Experience providing level of effort (LOE) estimates
-Ability to apply technical and business knowledge in the analysis of client requirements in project areas such as: IT testing and product acceptance, new business operating models, market research of emerging product functionality, and operational readiness assessment
-Ability to develop comprehensive documents based on detailed analysis of business processes, functional requirements, and applications
Preferred experience:
-IIBA Certification
-Formal Business Analyst training
-Understanding of health care business and care delivery processes
Position Overview:
Business Systems Analysis includes consulting with business partners to define requirements and develop solutions, alternatives and estimates (Business Engagement Consultants). Also includes translating client business requirements into specific technology systems, applications or process designs for large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture (Solution Consultants), as well as assuring the integration of corporate business application architectures. PAS Business Systems Analysts may also be expected to develop various documentation including Policies & Procedures, FAQ documents, workflows, and various online help documents.
Education:
-High school diploma or GED required
-Bachelors degree strongly preferred
