Location: East Midlands

Duration: 3 - 6 months

Rate: £35 - £38

I have an exciting contract opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer for one of my clients based in the East Midlands.
Working alongside the Controls Manager and the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the IEC 61850 technical aspects of the projects are planned, incorporated and delivered on time to a excellent standard.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to come in and have a critical view on the project and advice the client on how to improve their 61850 implementation

Essential Skills/Experience
  • Thorough knowledge of IEC 61850
  • Ethernet Protocol and how it works with IEC 61850#
  • C / C++
  • Linux / QNX Platform
  • Real Time
  • Excellent Planning Skills
  • Problem Solving / Analysis - use diagnostic tools such as Wireshark to analyse and identify protocols and solutions.
