ETL Developer - 7 Month Contract
Development, implementation and support of new and existing BI solutions.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain ETL processes for mapping source data to target Operational Data Stores and Data Warehouse.
- Provide support to BI team as part of the delivery life cycle, from requirements gathering through to testing and post implementation
- Liaise with third party suppliers & other internal departments on system requirements/issues, with regards to the delivery and support of BI systems.
- Adhere to all applicable IT development standards, including coding, testing, documentation and change control standards.
Skill-Set & Experience:
- 7 + years commercial development experience of hands-on design and implementation of business solutions that include data design/modelling, ETL technologies and reporting/BI technologies, for multi-terabyte data warehouse solutions
- Proven deep level of knowledge and proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, SSIS, MS SQL Server 2012
- Advantage to have working knowledge of Teradata, Linux, Microstrategy, SAS, Datamodelling tools
