Job Description:

The Systems Engineering discipline is becoming increasingly important within the automotive industry as a whole. Vehicle makers are imposing many new and innovative functions that require a high level of integration with the vehicle. This, together with development standards such as Autosar means that the engineers are faced with new, varied and challenging tasks.

Following are the predominant driving factors to go with Autosar way

  • Increasing complexity of software in automotive Systems
  • Management of E/E complexity associated with growth in functional scope
  • Fulfillment of future vehicle requirements, such as, availability and safety, SW upgrades/updates and maintainability
  • Increased scalability and flexibility to integrate and transfer functions
  • Improved containment of product and process complexity and risk
  • Higher penetration of "Commercial off the Shelf" SW and HW components across product lines
  • Cost optimization of scalable systems

New business wins and continuously increasing automotive standards have created the need to further strengthen the system engineering involved in product delivery. This role offers the opportunity to cover all technical aspects of developing electronic system which works with brakes, ADAS, steering and other such systems in the Autosar platform.

The successful candidate will combine knowledge and experience in several engineering disciplines to develop and refine the electronic system architecture, and will use this knowledge to help shape the clients Automotive Engineering future product development programs.
