Description
We are currently looking to recruite System Spcialist for Backup TSM and CommValt in Poland, Wroclaw
5 years professional experience in the area of Backup and Recovery System Technology
in particular with TSM and Simpana (of CommVault).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- All aspects of backup systems and backup and recovery processes in a large enterprise system environment
- Analysis given requirements and check on producibility
- Conception, speciification, design of solution in the responsible sections,
- Implementation, configuration, development and supply of tools and automated installation procedures
- Active recommendation of improvements in the area of responsibility
- Test and release, integration into system environment
- Troubleshooting as 3rd level
- Maintenance, attendance and improvement of solutions
- Quality control and optimization of procedures
- Secure performance and trouble-free function
- Adherence and transformation of IT security requirements
- Design and development of necessary procedures for integration into current production process
- Technical lead in migration and Release and Version change projects
- Troubleshooting software failures including contact and support of Software Suppliers
- Experience in Incident-, Problem- and Changemanagement
- Development and maintenance of required documentation
Required Skills:
The candidate must have the following experience and expertise:
- At least 5 years specialized expert experience with Backup and Recovery Engineering in particular with TSM and CommVault product Simpana
- Expert Knowhow in Virtual Tape Libraries ( EMC EDL, Fujitsu CentricStor), Robotics (IBM TS 3500) and TSM Manager
- Proven Midrange-knowledge of OS-plattforms, databases, SAP and mailsystems (Windows, MS SQL, Linux, AIX, Veritas, Sun Solaris, Oracle, Exadata, DB2/LUW, SAP Dbs, SAP-Hana, Exchange, Domino)
- Strong experience in programming languages (Powershell, VBS, Batch, Unix-Shell, Perl)
- Expert-knowledge of designing and implementing of backup-procedures
- Familiar with Office products
