Where does this role fit in to Version 1?
Version 1 is the first company in Ireland to achieve Oracle Platinum Partner status: the top tier of the partnership programme. We have the largest locally-based Oracle implementation and managed support services capability in the country and a depth of expertise across the Oracle stack including Database, Middleware, E-business Suite and Business Intelligence. We have built a successful Oracle E-business Suite Practice which provides consultancy, development and support services to a range of Irish and International organizations.
Our E-business Suite consultants have the opportunity to work on projects featuring the very latest technologies such as Oracle E-business Suite R12 in the Amazon cloud. Given a strong deals pipeline, we are looking to build our E-business Suite team and Oracle competency in Dublin
Tell me about the role - what will I be doing on a daily basis?
The role is based initially in our Dublin office. As an Oracle E-business Consultant, you will be responsible for providing daily support and quality assurance for a range of managed services clients.
What skills do I need to succeed in this job?
- Must have strong knowledge of Oracle development tools, E-business application functionality, system administration, database structure, and knowledge of a multi-Org architecture
- Technical requirements: SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Script, Java, XML, JDeveloper, Oracle Reports/Forms, Oracle Workflow
- Must have strong experience translating business requirements and design into technical solutions
- Knowledge of Oracle R11i required. R12 or R11 exposure an advantage. Functional experience/knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent mentoring and skills transfer capabilities
- Organised and self-motivated
