A fantastic client of mine based in Berkshire are currently recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to provide specialised support to day to day business operations as well as managing a team of Core Engineers.Paying up to £375 per day, you will need to have previous experience of Project Management in some capacity, ideally with ITIL qualifications. Providing interim cover you will support the existing infrastructure, managing a team of 11 Core and Systems Engineers so it is essential that you have past experience in a Team Leader/Management position.
You will be expected to hit the ground running and work with the existing system team to undertake project work as required, with a minimum of 3 core projects that will fall under the suitable candidates remit.
As well as strong Project Management and leadership skills, it is also essential for the candidate to have some specific technical skills, such as-:
- Good knowledge of core IT infrastructure (such as storage, servers, email and collaboration tools)
- Experience of working with operating systems such as Microsoft, Redhat, Exchange and MS Lync
- Knowledge of storage technologies such as NetApp
- Knowledge of server and server support technologies such as Windows Server, Linux and MS Systems Centre
- Knowledge of collaboration and messaging technologies such as Exchange, Exim, Lync and Sharepoint
