Advantage Resourcing are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a globally renowned management consultancy for an Interaction Designer contract initially for 3 months based in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high profile digital services projects for a public sector client.
We are looking for designers with experience and an understanding of the following:
*Brand DNA: (Device/Platform analysis, content inventory, analysis & mapping, elevator pitch)
*Service Solution: (Exploratory and refinement sketching, concept modelling, storyboarding, brainstorming, content strategy, and features ranking)
*UI Specification: (Site mapping, storytelling, useless and user flows, wireframes, prototyping, production (Specification))
*UI Optimisation: (Design and UX support, design and UX Q/A, documentation)
Responsibilities:
*Participate in brainstorms or user-focused offerings.
*Work within and help develop existing methodologies and processes.
*Provide interaction solutions and prototypes focusing on design and concepting across channels such as mobile, web, PC applications and interactive TV.
*Proficient in sketching and relevant software packages including Omnigraffle and Axure.
*Demonstrable skills in Information Architecture, Visual Communication, Photoshop, Illustrator
*Be involved in the preparation and crafting of presentations for conferences, events and workshops.
*Actively seek and receive 'critical' feedback (critique), and participate in feedback conversations.
*Work on projects from concept and sketching to final design and asset creation.
*Create specifications within existing brand guidelines and paradigms.
*Contribute to the Interaction Design knowledge base.
*Perform research and provide critical analysis on relevant topics.
*Participate in and contribute to Post Project Reviews.
*Work with 3rd party developers and external research/testing facilities.
*Play an active role in client meetings.
