Description

A commercially experienced Senior Artist is required by one of the UK's leading game developers based Oxfordshire. The Senior Artist will be involved in creating spectacular and realistic special effects for our AAA games developer. The Senior Artist will lead other VFX artists, demonstrating strong aesthetic ability and working closely with multiple project development teams to ensure technical compliance needs and project deadlines are met.

The suitable Senior Artist will have:

*At least 3 years' game industry experience, including at least 1 year as a VFX Artist

*Expert Adobe Photoshop ability with fluent knowledge of 3D Studio Max and/or Maya

*A portfolio of examples demonstrating outstanding visual and technical VFX ability

The ideal Senior Artist will have:

*Experience of a full production cycle, from beginning to end, on at least 1 published game

*Understanding of lighting and HDR, as well as any traditional art skills

The Senior Artist role would be suitable for someone commuting from Oxford, Reading, Swindon, Didcot, London, Slough and Newbury.
