Lead/Senior Sitecore Developer
As a Senior Sitecore Developer you will follow an iterative model in order to foster client participation early in the development process. Iterations typically are weekly, and each includes a specific set of features and/or pages to be completed. You should be proficient at checking in code from Dev to Test with Team Development for SiteCore (TDS) and be skilled at unit testing own code.
Below are some of your day to day functions:
- Troubleshoot fundamentals of SiteCore, Visual Studio and HTML/JavaScript
- Keep changes to SiteCore content in sync with other developers via TDS.
- Show consistent usage of source code control and properly use the version control system to get the latest changes from the repo.
- Unit test and ensure there are no 'missing' code or SiteCore items when migrating to QA environment.
- Understand JavaScript and jquery references and how to properly use multiple JavaScript libraries in a single project without adding individual scripts to each page.
- Ability to use Slack, conference calls, Emails and Instant Message as means of communication in a timely manner during office hours.
- Providing guidance to development team ensuring Sitecore best practices are being followed
- Providing detail to the project team regarding the specific tasks needed to complete the Sitecore build out
- Consult with internal application and infrastructure teams, to ensure adherence to Bremer development standards and guidelines
- Work with Application Services to assist with Sitecore specific tasks related to publishing, deployment and release management
- Review existing and future application code
- Review Sitecore information architecture, structure, layout and design
- Coordinate development tasks between Sitecore development team
- Provide Sitecore mentoring to staff
Sitecore Development Deliverables:
- Iteration/Implementation plan that outlines iterations and subtasks

- Development of unique Sitecore CMS Templates required to support the website redesign initiative
- Sitemap and Taxonomy implementation
- Site structure and template implementation
- Site navigation and components (primary, global and breadcrumb)
- Calculator integration
- Sitecore module development and configuration
- Resource Center
- Search configuration via Sitecore module
