Amoria Bond is looking for several experienced Network Engineers for a long term engagement at our client.
Due to the increase of projects and work load in the operational department of the end client, there are several requests open for Senior Network Engineers. There is a lot of Legacy, and to be able to have a healthy successful operational (admin) department, this has to be upgraded.
The responsibility lies in checking if the documentation of the implementation of Checkpoint Firewall is correct. This is to support the Storage team in the project. There will be a lot of hands-on work third line support and the successful candidate will be responsible for making the designs.
The knock out skills lie in Cisco Routing & Switching, Checkpoint, experience in Datacentres and the BGP protocol. The rest (ie experience on new platforms such as NX-OS, iOS) can be taught, but it is important to be able to make independent decisions based on the information available and the experience you have.
The skills someone can differentiate themselves with are MPLS, Load Balancing (ie F5, Radware, Cisco, Alteon), virtualisation, dynamic routing, and being able to have a helicopter view. CCNP is very nice to have.
