Job Description:
My client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join their team in Dublin as an Oracle DBA as soon as possible.
Requirements:
IT Knowledge:
-
Significant DBA experience in Oracle and/or SQL Server database technologies
-
Experience in Unix and Windows environment
-
Database backup & recovery processes,
-
Performance monitoring & tuning,
-
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and
-
Experience in SQL Clusters using MSCS,
-
Familiar with Database Best Practices, Standards & Guidelines, Processes & Procedures,
-
Familiar with Database Capacity Planning Methodology,
-
Familiar with Database Monitoring Tools and Technologies and Familiar with Database Security
Skills:
-
Minimum 5 years' experience within IT environment
Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in a related discipline (computer science) or an equivalent combination of training and experience
