Automotive C/C++/ CAN/ CANoe/ Microcontrollers EngineerGloucestershire, 6 month Contract, £35-£40 per hour.

A great opportunity has presented itself for an experienced embedded software engineer to work within a leading automotive company. To be successful for this role you should be able to show low level embedded software experience.
You will work as part of the development team, reporting to the software engineering manager. Your team is responsible for developing embedded software functionality in C for an instrument pack.
Key requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience developing embedded C/C++
- Automotive protocol experience such as CAN
- Ability to use tool such as CANoe
- Present understanding of low level software for embedded applications (ideally 16/32 bit microcontrollers.)
Knowledge and/or practice of the following would be advantageous:
- Automotive SPICE
- Mantis, SVN, MKS, RTC
- Fujitsu microcontrollers
