Senior JavaScript Developer
The largest consumer electronics brand in the UK are looking for a Full-stack JavaScript developer to join them on a 6-12 month project, you'll be building a future-proof check-out application for their global site. As this is the most crucial site of their site, they want to optimised conversion rates and ensure security is optimum, as such they're looking for a Senior JavaScript Heavyweight to help them build a next-generation check-out application prototype. As an industry leader they were the first brand in the world to have a fully responsive end to end website and they're again leading the pack with some cool new technologies and techniques.
You're a full-stack JavaScript heavy-weight with experience of working on large, high traffic websites that are incredibly scalable and able to take surges in traffic. You've worked on substantial builds for some of the biggest brands around and are comfortable testing large-scale applications and sites as you build them. Being a FTSE 100 company they work within a WAGILE environment, because of the size of the business and their legacy systems they work in a waterfall environment with pockets of Agile methodologies when possible. You have excellent Vanilla and OO JavaScript which you'll be using on their current legacy platform along with the experience of React (or the ability to pick it up quickly) for the isomorphic element along with extensive experience with Server Side JavaScript (Node and Express)

* HTML 5 / CSS 3
* JavaScript (Vanilla & OO)
* JavaScript Frameworks (Angular, Backbone)
* React JS (desirable)
* Experience with Isomorphic JavaScript (Desirable)
* Server-side JavaScript
* Experience of Unit testing large applications
* Front end Tooling - Node JS / Grunt JS or Gulp JS / Browserify.
* Experience of developing and consuming Rest
* Experience of developing and consuming RESTful APIs (JSON, AJAX, FLUX)
* GIT / SVN / Agile / XP / TDD / BDD
* Cross browser development & cross device optimisation skills.
* A/B testing experience (Adobe T&T, Maximiser)
