SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER - Hampshire - Contract

SharePoint Developer Responsibilities:

Develop, test, implement and support SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Architecture Strategy, policies and best practices.

Provide SharePoint support for existing SharePoint Applications

Monitor, analyse and address reliability and performance issues. Develop strategies for resolving them and preventing future occurrences.

SharePoint Developer will be responsible for providing technical and functional expertise for debugging, troubleshooting and deploying SharePoint solutions utilizing SharePoint 2010

Participate in Change Management Process and manage releases by coordinating with users (UAT), System Admins, PMO office and key stakeholders

Assess and address compliance with applicable IP Policies, Standards and Technical Controls. Continually keep abreast of and understand relevant policies, standards and technical controls and compliance process. Advocate and promote IP awareness and compliance.
Document supported system and application procedures and processes.
Keep abreast of technology changes and operating environment changes to assess potential impact to supported systems and applications and to proactively look for opportunities to improve service and/or reduce costs.
Provide SharePoint training and guidance to end users and power users.

SharePoint Developer Skills:
Highly proficient and capable of developing, designing, deploying and troubleshooting in SharePoint 2010
Highly proficient in gathering business requirements from project personnel and effective in developing solutions tailored to user needs
Good interpersonal and communications skills
Proficient in managing projects and leading specific IT efforts to completion following timelines and milestones.
Good at coordination with various disciplines to achieve the project objectives.
Ability to coordinate tasks with other IT organizations and SharePoint support teams in the company

Preferred Qualification:

Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in SharePoint

Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) in SharePoint Applications

Degree in Computer Science

Occasional after-hours support may be required.
