We are looking for a Cloud Automation SME (LCON/SCON), in AZ details:
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 6 months+
Start: 2 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
The Cloud Automation Engineer will be responsible for the automation of the operational tasks. The position requires working closely with a small, committed team of cloud and automation SME's. Required to work very closely with Development in building out an automated platform around continuous integration and no downtime.
Create and support configuration, build, release/deployment management tools using a variety of open source, Scripting, and industry vendor tools. Work with project management to influence solution design, roadmaps and transformation. Create systems documentation and drive continuous improvements through automation opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience in Cloud Automation using Industry wide Orchestration tools is a must
- 5+ years of experience in build/release/deployment automation is mandatory, preferably in agile development environment
- 2+ years of experience with one or more provisioning tools: Openstack, Puppet, Chef
- 2+ years of experience in Ruby/Powershell Scripting
- Experience with one or more SCM tools is a plus
- Experience working in a large scale applications development/release or operations environment
- Good knowledge of OS administration - Windows, Linux, Solaris
- Knowledge of Agile processes/requirement management tools is a plus
- Excellent problem solving skills with a desire to take on responsibility
- Ability to write clear and concise reports
- Excellent communication skills, should have worked in global delivery model
