Role: NFT&OAT Performance Test Lead
Duration: 6 months Contract
Location: South Dublin
8 to 10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years NFT experience.
Lead and Team Player - Take end to end responsibility for the Performance test solution through execution to reporting.
Technical Lead, Support and Co-ordinate Performance Testers onshore and offshore
Create the Performance Test Plan from the Technical Design
Lead the script development, tools setup/configuration, execution, analysis and report the Plan
Perform Performance POC
Hands-on script development, updates and enhancements
Execute the Plan on time
Raise Defects
Perform Technical Analysis
Provide Daily, Weekly and Project Closure Reports
Lead the team in a multivendor environment.
Creative problem solver who can recommend methods of testing various types of applications.
Motivate Team Members, Client facing experience.
Report to NFT&OAT Project Manager
Project report to the Test Manager
Performance Technical Lead for Performance Test Architect, Project Managers, Development Architects, Development Leads, Test Managers, Testers
Define the daily tasks utilizing a Technical Performance Test Framework, process, criteria, templates, tools and standards
Work in an Agile and Waterfall development, service delivery environment
Collaborate with service partners and suppliers to deliver projects to high quality, on time.
Strong Technical Performance Test Leadership, Communicator and Co-ordinator
Strong Experience with Performance tools LoadRunner, HP Diagnostics and HP Sitescope and any other Performance toolsets
Strong Understanding of Performance testing and End to End to Application Systems on test and Production scale environments
Strong working knowledge of transactional, static applications and supporting application, integration layer, MWS technologies through Software Platforms, Front End, Back End Applications and Network Layers covering VM and Physical Servers, Main Frames, databases, MQ, MB Middleware services, networks, load balancing, clustering, stubbing across multiple IT technologies
IBM-AIX/HP Unix/Sun Solaris/Redhat Linux OS fundamentals
Shell Scripts, cron jobs Fundamentals
Batch Scheduling & Execution Fundamentals
Interpret Application & System logs
Vi Editor
Database SQL Queries (RDBMS - Oracle, DB2)
Understanding Networking concepts (Failover, Resilience, Failback)
Basic understanding Application Security (eg Role based Security)
Ability to run Diagnostics (Application, MWS & DB layers)
