Front-End Developer/HTML5/CSS/Javascript/Leeds

My client is a specialist transportation company based in Leeds and are looking for a strong front end developer.

Essential Skills/experience:
  • Demonstrable experience of front end work.
  • HTML5 - Knowledge of modern W3C Web Standards, HTML/XHTML & CSS best practices.
  • CSS3 - Hand coding semantic html mark-up and maintainable CSS style sheets.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, including libraries such as jQuery.
  • Developing browser compatible UI.
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience working as part of a team


Preferred Skills/experience:
  • Excellent eye for detail and good awareness of principals of UI design.
  • Adobe Photoshop/Fireworks and image optimisation
  • Good understanding of source code control systems, ideally SVN and GIT.


Contract Location - Leeds

Contract Length - Initially 6 Months with likely extension

Contract Rate - £285 - £345 per day
