* Plan and deliver analysis of significance testing and commentaries methodologies.
* Engage with IT developers to specify the required improvements identified above.
* Contribute analysis towards a health check of the tariff scale used in the tool.
* Investigate and make a recommendation as to whether a stage estimation function is required in the tool.
* Support the development of a course comparator.

Essential Skills

* The role requires an individual with a strong statistical background.
* Ideally have a first or second class honours degree in a statistical or strong numerate discipline in order to allow a satisfactory knowledge of the statistical techniques required for this work.
* Analysis and use of evidence - strong statistical skills
* Ability to use analytical and management information to support decisions
* Ability to interrogate analysis to draw out key findings and messages
* Strong delivery skills,
* The ability to plan and deliver a project,
* Engage and maintain relationships with stakeholders and present ideas clearly
* Ability to work independently and take personal responsibility for actions.

DIGITAL BUSINESS ANALYST - GLASGOW - 6 MONTHS

Our Glasgow based client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Digital Business Analyst for an initial 6 month contract with the opportunity to extend to April 2017.

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

Essential Skills:

* Ability to instil confidence and maintain credibility when responding to challenges from senior managers with competing priorities.
* Familiarity with digital / iterative documentation (user Stories, backlogs, Story Maps).
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to converse clearly using non-technical language to key stakeholders across the business.
* Ability to conduct impact assessments.
* Use of MS Visio to create UML use cases/scenarios and BPMN process models.

Essential Experience:

At least seven years business analysis experience with a mix of waterfall and Agile environments.

Evidence of analysis experience in at least four of the following business capabilities:

* Human resources
* ICT
* Mailroom / Scanning / OCR / Printing
* Contact centre
* Finance
* Sensitive data handling business areas

Evidence of analysis experience in customer facing environments: digital services and traditional telephony based contact centre.

Experience of co-ordinating & mentoring other business analysts.

Experience of modelling business processes using industry standard notation (e.g. BPMN).

Experience of managing stakeholder expectations.

Analysis experience in at least 3 of the following digital areas:

* Cloud based Products/Services
* Mobile Products/Services
* Social Media
* Products/Services utilising Big Data
* Multi-Channel Customer Journeys
