Description
We are currently seeking a multi-lingual IT Project Manager to begin a 12 Month contract for a client of ours, a prominent Insurance firm, based in central Brussels.You must be able to speak fluent French OR Dutch with, at least, a very good understanding of the other as you will be dealing with stakeholders from all levels and a diverse team who you will be responsible for managing. The successful candidate must have prior experience in large IT organizations delivering major projects on time and in budget as well as experience in Insurance or customer database management.
You will also be expected to use your knowledge of application development process and a IT platforms to carry out your daily duties which will include:
- Scoping the project & setting up project Initiation Documentation
- Planning & resource management
- Highlight reporting
- Communication with project board / business & IT stakeholders
- Risk / issue / action tracking & follow-up
- Organizing the daily execution of the project
This is a very broad role where you will be involved in the planning of the project from its inception to its completion and you will be involved from the initial risk report and accounting all the way through to the managing of stakeholders' expectations and its final delivery.
