Required Skills
- Understanding of Operational Risk and the associated application to a technology division within Financial Services
- Risk related experience preferably within Information Technology
- Ability to draft high quality written products that are comprehensive, accurate, and tailored to the audience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as the role involves a high amount of interaction with senior management across multiple divisions, including Business, Technology, Firm Control organizations (eg Compliance & Legal)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and related applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Visio, Project)
- Self-starter with a can-do approach.
- Ability to draft high quality written products that are comprehensive, accurate, and tailored to the audience
- Excellent influencing skills
- Accurate, tenacious and delivery focused mindset with good attention for detail
- Comfort working with ambiguity, managing and resolving complex issues
Desired Skills:
- Experience in infrastructure engineering or software development roles.
- Knowledge of all stages of the SDLC.
- Understanding of regulations (eg, Basel, SOX)
- Project/Program Management experience
- Knowledge of COBIT and ITIL frameworks for risk assessment
- Industry Certification such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, and CRISC
