Description

Job Description:
  • Primary responsibility is data collection, cleansing, validation reporting and analytics for SC metrics.
  • Understand and monitor key spending trends, cost drivers, market factors geographic considerations.
  • Support sourcing initiatives through category supply chain review, process mapping, and analytics.
  • Participates in bench marking surveys, provides analysis and summarizes findings, draws conclusions, presents recommendations.
  • Maintain understanding of industry practices in area of supply chain systems and processes.
  • Develop, maintain and report performance metrics, root cause analysis, cost modelling, financial analysis, price forecasting.
  • Data collection, analysis, and reporting on process improvements.
  • Analyze and report on the results of supply chain performance.
  • Develop and implement reports and metrics regarding procurement activities.
  • Development of monthly performance scorecards, highlighting achievements, performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Produces and analyzes SRM scorecards.
  • Performs data analytics for medium complexity modelling efforts and initiatives.
  • The person will be involved in RFP's, and be responsible for engaging in data modelling and cost modelling.
SKILLS:

Experience/Skills:
  • In depth knowledge and expertise with performance reporting, financial analysis, building analytical models.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills. Able to translate management requests into effective reports and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of business, financial principles, bench marking, process improvement methods.
  • Advanced level ability using PC desktop applications, high level programming or a demonstrated programming aptitude.
  • Full understanding of purchasing and inventory systems experienced using data marts, data warehouses, E-commerce, working with IT systems and IT teams.
  • Strong conceptual thinking.
  • Ability to motivate and engage team members.
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong program, project management skills and techniques.
  • Strong Financial Planning and Analysis experience within supply chain.
  • The Manager is looking for strong analysts.
  • Candidates must be advanced in Excel and strong in Access.
Desired:
  • Bench marking experience.
  • 6 Sigma/lean.
Education/Degree requirements:
  • BS/BA, MBA Preferred.
  • Candidates MUST HAVE at least 7 years experience.
