My international financial client is looking for an ICT systems engineer, Business Intelligence, Powercenter
Description you will:
- Supervises all changes requested by application development teams
- Responsible for the management of assigned systems, products or technical domains with 24 hour emergency technical support and overall technical quality
- Evaluates corporate-wide system to improve system performance and functionality
- Follows up market evolution
- Drafts understandable reports on improvement opportunities for the respective system
- Performs maintenance tasks on existing test and production environments
- Designs, tests, and implements back up, recovery and restart procedures
- Monitors error logs, etc, to ensure proper capacity and availability
- Responsible for changes, incident handling and problem solving
- Designs configurations in cooperation addressing necessary performance and recoverability issues
- Executes software installations, creations/configurations, and loads
Projects & Maintenance - Business Intelligence
Your responsibilities for the following services concerning Business Intelligence will be:
- BI applications (development): data capturing (ETL), data storage reporting and data quality aspects of the BI applications using the standard BI tools (PowerCenter, Metasuite, SAP BW, SAP BO and SAS)
- BI tooling: ETL tools (Powercenter and Metasuite) and reporting & analysis tools (SAP BO and SAS)
Services on:
- BI development: prebuild (software) components, guidelines for BI architecture design-programming, training, material.
- BI tooling: installation guides & checklists, infrastructure blueprints, security frameworks.
Support on:
- BI development: for the Belgian delivery organisation and EUC (End User Computing)
- BI tooling: support: in Belgium for all entities; in CE only by mutual agreement.
