Our client is one of Australia's leading and largest Financial Services Organization that has expanded its operations beyond the Australian shores. The organisation has a large range of financial offerings to both public and private clients across the retail, corporate and institutional banking areas. They have a very large technical footprint that combine a dynamic range of technologies in an ultimately, highly complex landscape.
In this role you will work with a team of high calibre developers on a low latency Front Office applications. You will be working in the FX team, e-trading space in a fast-paced agile environment, responsible for continuous integration, code-reviews and frequent and consistent production delivery.
You will need to have hands-on front- end JavaScript knowledge to work on a Greenfield applications. The role will also involve UX design and build new features on the client side architecture.
You will work with a team who is highly agile using HTML5/CSS3/JS and best practice JavaScript design patterns on a Real Time event based browser application development.
Required Skills
- Excellent acquaintance of HTML5/CSS3/JS
- Understanding on building large well-tested modular client applications
- Capability to work with multiple client JavaScript stacks
- Strong well-tested, reliable and performant code believer
- Financial experience (FX is highly desirable)
- AngularJS, React or Caplin Trader
- LESS or Sass
- UX design skills
- Java or C# .NET
- Distributed source control such as Git, Mercurial or Bitkeeper is highly regard
- Automated testing
