Description
Security Engineer required to implement and monitor security measure for protection of computer systems, networks and information. You will be able to identify/define security requirements, design security architecture and develop detailed security design. Proven experience of in building/maintaining security systems - McAfee, Lumension, RSA and bluecoat.
Perform diagnosis, troubleshoot, and conduct root-cause analysis for any issues escalated on the storage and backup platforms.
Create and provide reports for backup and storage environments and related activities and tasks
Create and update documentation for storage and backup environments. The documentation would include: standard operating procedures, solutions, knowledge base articles and applicable project documentation
Act as a final level of escalation before resorting to vendor support
Technologies/Knowledge:
Expert knowledge on backup software technologies. Commvault
Expert knowledge on storage hardware technologies; HP storage and NetAPP are preferred
Expert knowledge of SAN fabric technologies. Cisco Nexus
Expert knowledge of iSCSI and Fiber Channel infrastructure
Expert knowledge of overall backup and storage design and related issues (VTL, cloud storage, audit compliance issues)
Strong knowledge of an array of tape based backup hardware
