Description
My client is seeking a Solution Architect to support a General Insurance underwriting and pricing application programme. Working within the architecture team, the primary responsibility will be to lead solution architecture delivery (covering business, information, applications, technology and service) for workstreams within the programme, working with stakeholders and specialists as appropriate.
The role is expected to lead on business functionality and data, whilst having knowledge of the other architecture domains and workstreams to create a cohesive solution
The successful candidate will:
- Produce architecture solutions to business requirements
- Ensure architectural governance over solution delivery
- Engage IT & Business representatives to enable change
- Consult with other members of architecture team
- Interface with third party suppliers of products and services
- Act as escalation point for architectural issues
- Have experience of systems integration of COTS packages and service operation environments
- Have experience of end-to-end architecture, covering business requirements through to technical deployments and service design
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills
