The following is the job description for the Storage Consultant:
Prepare and send morning report to the customer concerning the good health of the storage and SAN infrastructures.
Analysis and resolution of daily storage issues working with Help Desk Ticket System.
Monitoring, analysis and Escalation of critical incidents to the support and colleagues.
Ability to work with customers and maintain a professional attitude and provide good customer service.
Participate in on-call rotation support and be flexible in availability as needed
Define issues and drive resolution with operations and vendors.
Perform any other job related instructions as requested, with reasonable accommodation.
Reports the work done and the status of tasks to team lead
Plan, design, implement and execute testing to support NAS storage solution development for Netapp storage technologies.
Act as the Subject matter expert for Netapp Storage technologies
Develop and deliver test plan, reports, technical presentations, addressing various areas of the NAS solution in agreed timeframes.
Support, assist, and consult with various levels through delivery of technical presentations and reports.
Responsible for on-going recommendations and best practices for NAS solutions around business continuity, high availability, backup, recovery and archiving.
Responsible for on-going management of configuration and layout of platform and NAS infrastructure.
Should have drive for automation and good Scripting skills
Define issues and drive resolution with operations and vendors.

Reports the work done and the status of projects tasks to project manager and parent organization weekly
Skills :
- Excellent fundamental knowledge in RAID, disk Network, etc.
- Multiple years' experience with HDS storage.
- Multiple years of relevant technical experience in NAS environment
- Multiple years of relevant technical experience in storage environment
- Good Scripting and automation skills
- Good technical, documentation and communication skills
- Language: English & French
