Operations Manager - Banking - London - ContractI am looking for a Senior Operations Manager to join top tier bank on a two year contract.
Responsible for overseeing and challenging the Programme delivery of a new sanctions screening application into Sanctions Operations, covering; (1) Operational Readiness (2) Training (3) Testing (4) Migration and (5) Implementation, ensuring the success of the project.
Key Responsibilities
To analyse existing work practices - system and procedural - identifying areas for improvement.
- To drive and deliver exceptional business performance through the strong leadership and performance management of a team.
- Accountable for establishing High Performance Organisation standards through effective institution of Performance Development standards and measurements, and where appropriate, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Accountable for ensuring a high level of specialist industry and operations knowledge is acquired and maintained personally and by the Technical SME's to successfully deliver operations and advise on technical issues as required.
Key Requirements
Project Management (Requirements, Test and Implementation skills)
Experience of business leadership e.g. business change, support etc.
Experience of Sanctions systems
Extensive experience of fircosoft and World Check
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
