Description
We are looking for a Corporate Actions BUSINESS ANALYST to join the Project Team.
The function is on expert level and the Corporate Actions BUSINESS ANALYST should have the following generic qualifications:
Proven experience in performing business analyses including gathering and developing business requirements;
Proven experience in translating business requirements into functional requirements;
The Corporate Actions BUSINESS ANALYST should have at least 5-10 years of experience in working in the Asset Management industry and should be well aware of the chain of events from Front to Back Office;
Understanding the Asset Management operating model is a pre-condition;
From a business analyses and change management point of view, the Corporate Actions BUSINESS ANALYST should have experience in or have knowledge about: project management (ie Prince2), business process design and optimisation, operating models (Asset Management industry), delivering functional interface designs;
The Corporate Actions BUSINESS ANALYST should have strong analytical skills and should be able to share analyses with users, lead analysts, developers and project management. The Corporate Actions BUSINESS ANALYST must be a partner to the business;
The Corporate Actions BUSINESS ANALYST should have strong communication skills (verbally and in writing) including communicating various levels of detail appropriate to the audience;
Problem-solving skills as frequent and random changes will come up during the various stages of the project;
The Corporate Actions BUSINESS ANALYST should have decision preparation skills including decision documentation preparation;
The Corporate Actions BUSINESS ANALYST should have proven experience in system implementation and process improvement projects within Buy Side firms;
Knowledge of complex processes and expertise in rationalising and improving these complex and manual processes.
To bring the pre-defined deliverables to successful completion, the candidate should also have more specific knowledge and qualifications:
The Corporate Actions BUSINESS ANALYST has vast experience in the operational domain of Corporate Action processing;
The Corporate Actions BUSINESS ANALYST has full understanding of the Corporate Action events including Mandatory, Voluntary and Income events on both Equity and Fixed Income products;
Expert knowledge of the end-to-end Corporate Action processing life cycle and Front to Back administration is required;
Experienced in implementing a Corporate Actions engine is required;
The Corporate Actions BUSINESS ANALYST is required produce high-level and detailed specification documents at the level of detail required by the Development Team and collaborate with Development and Quality Assurance Teams to ensure the requirements are understood and implemented correctly;
Ability to read, understand and map Corporate Action-related SWIFT messages (MT564 to MT568) is a must;
